Charlie here (founder of Everywhere Is Queer)!
There are a few reasons why I started EIQ. One of them was for folks to be able to build community more easily wherever they are in the world.
I have connected with Madison, the founder and CEO of Sum of Us Wellness Festival which offers an alternative safe space for the LGBTQ+ women and trans community outside of nightlife. Sum of Us Festival is a 4-day, 3-night, LIVE event celebrating queer interests like being outdoors, artistic expression, spirituality, personal empowerment, well-being activities, and sexual exploration.

Pinecrest, California, next to Stanislaus National Forest, is a natural getaway, home to large forest trees and fresh mountain air. They have upgraded their venue with hot water showers, flushable toilets, pre-set-up glamping options, pools, hot tub, and a much larger space. *They acknowledge that this land is the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Mi-Wuk Nation.

Damn Good DRAG Nights
A spin-off of LA’s wellknown Damn Good Dyke Nights kicks off at Sum of Us Fest as Damn Good Drag Nights with a kick-ass drag variety show! Come cheer, laugh and connect with other festival guests at our opening party. Enjoy multiple drag and burlesque performances, audience games, music, dancing, and good 'ol quality fun.
Straponathon
Looking for some fun, sexy time at Sum of Us? Camp Beaverton is hosting its infamous Strap-on-athon on the Saturday of the event weekend! This play party began over a decade ago at Burning Man and is now returning for the second year in a row at Sum of Us Festival.
Last year this special event held over 350 attendees in a safe space you do not want to miss. Come cuddle, play, watch, give, and receive whatever you want in a consensual, and sexy environment.
Gayme Day
What’s your favorite outdoor gayme to play?
Gayme Day will be hosting field games on the first day of the Festival, guaranteed to make you laugh with some competitive fun! 😉
